Part 3: Does Technology Hinder or Enhance Learning & Teaching?

 

 Before we step in to the making learning media and so on. In this second meeting we discuss a lot about the advantages of using Technology as the learning media, remind that this subject is called 'Instructional Technology'. As we know,  technology is part of our live even for school environment in Indonesia it seems not spread use. But guess, we are not prepare for today's live, right?

In the today's questions 'Does Technology Hinder or Enhance Learning & Teaching', our position is in the contra team. In my opinion, technology is not help in learning and teaching process. Students became addicted to find the material, copied without permission. Moreover, it can make students lazy and don't care about the process of learning and teaching. In Indonesia it became more difficult because the teacher is not capable to use technology, and the facilities is still limited.

So, in conclusion you may open this to see the all of the complete about my friend's opinion. Okay jaa!

Part 2: The Hypothesis

From the interview and observation, the condition and facilities in SMA 1 Pleret l is quite complete. This school is facilitated by LCD in every class and projector. The students also aware of technology. We use Video as main of the learning media. We suppose it will support the learning and teaching process because we think it is applicable to use at school.

Why choosing Video?

1. Video make students get closer to the real life.Students will get motivation from watching the video.
2. Video helps students to build their prior knowledge and give a vision to the learner. 
3. Video is still seldom to use in the school, so students must be interesting.

What video we want to make will describing process, because we decided to make the procedural text. So far, that's all guws! Thanks.
